The Kalesh Mp-D42 Battle Pod is an armored attack Harness, supporting multiple roles and pilots. The model includes dual cockpits for an Incarnate and an Organic, and both are equipped with multi-function Reflex controls for solo or dual crew role combinations: pilot, gunner, navigator, and passenger. The Kalesh can operate on the ground, in space, and aboard ship, and can function in multiple roles such as boarding actions, ground assault, salvage, and even reconnaissance.
The Kalesh is a relatively early Harness design which has survived countless hours in the field and void, and has been adapted and improvised to overcome all challenges. Even after almost seven centuries, the model and its variants remain the most popular and widely used Harness in the world because of their substantial reliability under harsh conditions, low production costs compared to contemporary systems, availability in virtually every region and ease of use.
She may not look like much, but she’s got it where it counts.
For the Kalesh, form has followed function and refinement, and the model looks decidedly utilitarian. The distinctive and original shark face is surrounded by a hodgepodge of modifications that often appear bolted on as an afterthought. The ride is rough, especially for Organics, who tend to get “kaleshed” along with telltale bruises. Despite appearances, the Kalesh is a fine instrument in the right hands, especially since some pilots have been operating a Kalesh for several lifetimes.
