“Known space” is the nucleus of civilization, the planets and systems in the galactic core. While for some Spacers this is home, for most it is the world they wish to escape from, a world of legalized corruption, political lobbies, inane laws, and politicians who wouldn’t last long out in space (getting “spaced” tends to have that effect).

Just kill me now?

In contrast is “unknown space”–the vast uncharted void beyond known space, where normal values such as common decency, the golden rule, respect, and shooting first are the rules of the road. Out there criminals get shot (unless they’re the ones with more money and guns). Out there Spacers follow Shining Paths instead of patrolled space lanes or traffic corridors. Out there Spacers have freedom.

Care to guess which one this game is about?
